Week 8 Blogpost

Kia ora e te whānau

This week we have been digging deep into core learning. A huge majority of our class have been creating geometrical art, with the focus being reflection, rotation and enlargement. Below you will see some of their amazing designs! A number of students are in the process of creating a "decodable book", their challenge has been to include as many "r-controlled" vowels as possible - We look forward to seeing their final versions being complete in the coming weeks.

Learning conferences: Over the coming weeks we will begin to prepare your children for these meetings, we look forward to sharing their successes so far this year. Please see times and days in the calendar below. Please see our karakia attached, we will begin our learning conferences with this.

Playing on the field: The field has been out of bounds and may continue next week if the field is too wet.
